Mane Bound For Saudi Exit?

Mane Bound For Saudi Exit?

Al Nassr are reportedly pondering loaning out star player Sadio Mane.

Despite only joining Al Nassr in 2023, Sadio Mane could already be on his way out of the club.

Although he was unable to help the Knights of Najd capture any silverware during the 2023/24 campaign, the Senegalese talisman was a key source of goals for his new side.

In his debut campaign in the Middle East, the Bambaly native managed to score 19 goals and provide 11 assists in 46 matches in all competitions.

Despite his productivity in front of goal, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner could already be on his way out of Riyadh.

According to Al-Riyadiya, Mane is receiving a lot of interest from several teams outside of Saudi Arabia, as well as within the Saudi Pro League.

It seems that if the two-time CAF Men's Player of the Year is to leave Al Nassr, it will likely be on loan, but there is also the possibility that he continues with last season's SPL runners up.

The same report claims that the chiefs of the club are yet to decide whether he stays or he goes just yet. Al Nassr was able to acquire the services of Mane through the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and it pays him a hefty annual salary of €40 million (R791 million).

If Mane is to move on permanently, it can only be to another side within the SPL so the PIF can continue to pay his wages as it is said that Al Nassr are not responsible for any of his financial benefits.
