Having been without a club since rescinding his contract with Turkish club Kayserispor in December, 35-year-old Adebayor returned to the game on Tuesday when he signed for Paraguayan champions Olimpia.
A number of other players from the continent are still waiting for the right move, however, including veteran striker Obafemi Martins. The former Nigeria international has been without a club since June 2018, but recently revealed that he is still searching for a new team.

Martins' countryman Victor Anichebe, who made nearly 200 Premier League appearances across spells with Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland, has not played a competitive match in more than two years, but was reportedly close to joining Scottish side Kilmarnock last year.
The Senegalese quartet of Diafra Sakho, Younousse Sankhare, Babacar Sarr and Cheikh N'Doye, who boast 49 international appearances between them, are also currently available on the cheap for potential suitors.
