Following Cameroon's emphatic victory on Tuesday evening, they became the 24th and final side to book their place at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Indomitable Lions qualified for their fifth consecutive continental showpiece following a crunch encounter against Burundi at the Roumde Adjia Stadium.

Goals from Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, RC Lens' Christopher Wooh and national legend Vincent Aboubakar secured a comprehensive 3-0 victory over the east African nation.

The result saw Rigobert Song's men join Peter Shalulile's Namibia as the two sides to progress from Group C.

This past weekend, minnows Mauritania also confirmed their place at the next iteration of AFCON in Ivory Coast after they beat Gabon 2-1 to join group-toppers Democratic Republic of Congo, who themselves booked their ticket to west Africa in January following a 2-0 win over Sudan.

Gambia finished off the weekend's proceedings in theatrical fashion as they came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw with Congo Republic in the dying embers of the match as they secured the point they needed to make it out of the group alongside continental powerhouse Mali.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco were set to play their final encounter of the group stage this past weekend against Liberia, but with the north African nation being rocked by a devastating earthquake, CAF decided to postpone that qualifier.

Walid Regragui's men will be at the tournament regardless, having progressed alongside South Africa from Group K.

Nigeria

Guinea
