The most amazing thing about Giggs is his consistency and how he continues to make regular contributions to the club, but this time as an assistant. He even made a big contribution to Team Great Britain at the Olympics, appearing in every match and captaining the side.
Paolo Maldini
The Milan skipper is one of the longest lasting players to have played the beautiful game. Having spent his whole career tied to one club, Maldini only landed up retiring from his duties at the age of 40. With the Rossoneri he landed up winning five Champions League titles, and a number of Scudetti.

Kind of fitting that David Beckham would be on this list, as he was sort of forgotten when he moved to the MSL and made cameo appearances for Milan and PSG.
