Orlando Pirates will be back in action this weekend against AC Leopards in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup, just weeks after putting on a showboating extravaganza. Will they do it again?
Eric Tinkler's men were certainly seen enjoying themselves when they waltzed to a 6-1 aggregate win over AS Kaloum.
Between Oupa Manyisa, Sifiso Myeni, Menzi Masuku and Thabo Rakhale, the quartet were seen juggling the ball around the field, doing feigns and experimenting with new tricks – it was a sight to behold!
Pirates are exploring their creative edge more frequently, leaving many fans gasping for more. So will they do it against Leopards?
Well, that cannot be predicted as of yet. Tinkler has often stated that he is happy to see showboating in the game, but only if it is implemented on the wings and if the scoreline is wrapped up in favour of the Bucs.
With the first-leg set to be played away to Leopards, it seems unlikely that Pirates will implement such a risky style to their game until such a time that they know they are taking the three points.
Can we expect to see Kasi Flavour in the next CAF Confederation Cup outing?
