Fourth is the highest position Kaizer Chiefs can finish in the ABSA Premiership this season. Are they in need of more players? Here are some footballers they've been linked with.
Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Thulani Serero is likely to be on his way out of the Dutch club at the end of the campaign, having not played in their first team all season.
Serero has been linked with a couple of English sides, and the former Urban Warrior is also said to have attracted interest from Chiefs, who could use another creative player in midfield.
Platinum Stars attacker Ndumiso Mabena is also said to have been monitored by Amakhosi, with the 30-year-old's current deal reportedly expiring at the end of the season.
Bidvest Wits striker James Keene is also set to become a free agent in the coming weeks, and could be targeted by the Glamour Boys once again.
Keene's injury struggles appear to be behind him, and the player's 0.52 goals per game is significantly better than Siphiwe Tshabalala's 0.39 strikes per match.
Mamelodi Sundowns player Mzikayise Mashaba is also believed to be a Chiefs target, although he is also reportedly wanted by Orlando Pirates.
Would these players make Chiefs PSL title contenders again?
