Mamelodi Sundowns moved back into second spot, following the win over Free State Stars but can they close the 11-point gap betweent themselves and Kaizer Chiefs?
It started of as a tough encounter and Stars looked to be giving our defence a couple problems and even forced Denis Onyango into a few saves.
However, it took wonderful goals from our Zimbabwean contingent, first Cuthbert Malajila heading home his ninth goal of the season, before Khama Billiat sealed the win late in the game, after Sundowns went down to 10 men.
The Three Who Impressed:
Cuthbert Malajila - The Zimbabwean was a threat to the Stars defence throughout and got a well-deserved goal just before the halftime break. His ninth of the season.
Khama Billiat - Finally managed to get himself o the score-sheet and crowned a fine individual performance.
Denis Onyango - Popped up with a couple fine saves, most notably in the first half, with two saves in quick succession.
The Three Who Disappointed:
Mzikayise Mashaba - Started off the game well but showed his careless side by picking up a silly a second yellow card and getting sent off.
Themba Zwane - Brought on in the hope of adding a bit more flair to the game but hardly an impact.
Bongani Zungu - He didn't have a bad game, I would just like to see a bit more of him going forward and take risks.
