On Tuesday, Itumeleng Khune and Siphiwe Tshabalala helped make a dream come true for a teenager who suffered from cancer, and he has since sadly passed away.
Romello, who was 15 years old, was taken to The Village where he got to meet the Amakhosi players, and his two idols in particular.
That meeting was, without a doubt, one of the boy's highlights of his life, and in a letter addressed to Chiefs, it was announced that he sadly passed away just hours later.
Khune took to Instagram to share the news of Romello's passing, and his post, which also featured the abovementioned letter, is tear-inducing.
We are glad the youngster at least managed to meet his idols before passing on. Well done to Chiefs for helping him reach for his dream.
Have a look…
May Romello rest in peace. You can leave you messages for the teen below.
