Coaches come and go continuously in the Absa Premiership, and there are some who are currently on the prowl for a new bench to occupy.
This morning, I look at coaches who are currently looking for a new team to coach in South Africa.
After having been pushed from pillar to post with Chippa United on numerous occasions, Sikhakhane is now on the lookout for a new club after reportedly turning down a return to the Chilli Boys. The coach has been the only tactician able to give Chippa good results – which should count for something.
The Belgian has been without a club since he was dismissed from Free State Stars. He recently admitted that he is hoping to find another club in the PSL, and it remains to be seen which team will be the first to pounce on his availability.
The coach has been linked with taking over at struggling NFD side Maluti FC, but there has been no official deal yet. Rosslee is a highly rated coach in South Africa and he is unlikely to be on the market for too long.
The Serbian has been in and out of South Africa on numerous occasions. He has been without a team since resigning from his post at Orlando Pirates in December 2014. One can't rule out the possibility of him returning to South Africa one way or another just yet.
The Turkish coach is infamous for leaving clubs before his contract has expired, with his latest victim being Ajax Cape Town last year January. Ertugral, however, has been in the country for a few months and it is reported that he is on the lookout for a new job. Ertugral was also linked to the Orlando Pirates post.
Arguably one of the friendliest coaches in South Africa, Siya sources revealed that Barker was relieved of his duties at Mpumalanga Black Aces late on Thursday evening. At the ripe age of 70, Barker may consider retiring, but there is always a possibility that he could choose to take on another challenge.
Who else would you add to this list?
