Over the years, South Africa has been blessed with some uniquely gifted playmakers. Names that easily come to mind are legends such as Jomo Sono, John Moshoeu, Jabu Mahlangu and Sibusiso Zuma.

Sibusiso Vilakazi
The Bidvest Wits number 10 has been one of the country's football revelations and shone for both his club and the national team this season. Despite Bafana Bafana falling short in the group stages of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, he was a standout performer. He is sure to make waves in the coming years.
Themba Zwane
Held in high esteem by Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Clive Barker, Zwane has been touted as becoming the next Doctor Khumalo. The Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker’s silky skills and footwork make it a treat to watch him play, and it remains to be seen how far this boy can really go.
Morne Nel
Nel, who is now at SuperSport United, made waves recently after being linked with a move to English giants Tottenham Hotspur. The talented 18-year seems wise beyond his years, and it’s his technical ability on the ball is outstanding. He may not be in the country for too long due to links with clubs abroad.
Thabo Rakhale
Rakhale quickly won the hearts of the Orlando Pirates faithful with his dazzling skills and ability to ease past defenders. ‘Jomo’, as he known affectionately in the local game, can either player as a winger or as a number 10 - and his versatility puts him in good stead in becoming one of the country’s best players.
Ziyaad Eksteen
The Ajax Cape Town teenager earned himself a professional contract with the club at the beginning of the Absa Premiership season, following years of grafting in the youth ranks at Ikamva. He has been tipped to become the next Keagan Dolly by Ajax coach Roger De Sa, and has the potential to set the PSL alight.
