Orlando Pirates' identity as a club looking to compete on all fronts has somewhat been obscured this season due to a tragic misfortune and a string of unconvincing results.
In a bid to turn things around, the club signed Siyabonga Mpontshane to replace the late Senzo Meyiwa, and Tshepo Gumede to resolve the clubs defensive woes.
Having said that, what other players do you think the club should have, and could have signed?
The talented Ajax Cape Town youngster has been superb for the Urban Warriors this season, as he formed a strong partnership alongside Rivaldo Coetzee. Mobara was seemingly unsettled at the club, presenting a window of opportunity for clubs to make a move for the player - but he has since penned a new deal with the Cape Town outfit.
Coetzee is one of many talented youngsters in the country on the verge of stardom, following his recent showings for Bafana Bafana at the tender age of 18. In terms of value for money, Coetzee could have been the alternate option to Gumede.
Tlolane is a goal scorer on form, and as we know, goal scorers in the country have been hard to come by in recent times. Bucs could have snapped up the Polokwane City man while his confidence is high.
This would have been the transfer of the season, and in terms of replacing Meyiwa - pound-for-pound, Khune would have been the perfect replacement.
