The January transfer market is just around the corner, and that means a number of players will be free to negotiate with clubs about their future. But who do Chiefs stand to lose?

Lorenzo Gordinho is one of the players in question. Not only is the defender in his final eight months of his contract, but he has reportedly caught the attention of a number of clubs and he may be tempted to take his career elsewhere.
The same can be argued for for Erick Mathoho too, as he has long been tipped to take his career to Europe.
“Tower” has long been the leading commander in Chiefs’ backline, and if the club fail to win silverware this season, then he may be tempted to court other suitors.
Meanwhile, Siyanda Xulu is almost certain to leave the club in one of the next two transfer windows. The center back was originally transfer listed in May, and despite staying at the club for the 2016/17 campaign, he is yet to turn out in a competitive game for the first team.
Xulu will not be happy sitting on the bench for another season, and he could very well be off come June.
With so many strikers on Chiefs’ books, Edward Manqele must rise up to the occasion and score goals when given the opportunity or move to another club. It’s unlikely that Chiefs will keep him for another season if he fails to produce goals.
Finally, Enocent Mkhabela is another name that is likely to part ways with the club sooner rather than later...
The defender is yet to turn out for Chiefs’ first team this season, and reports have suggested he is likely to go on loan in January.
