Since the start of the New Year, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has looked lost on the pitch and things haven’t gotten any better after his public break up with model Irina Shayk.
Ronaldo has scored just seven goals in 2015, which is way below his usual best, and it now seems that everyone is keen to have a go at him – even his former girlfriend.
Shayk came out with a sneaky attack on Ronaldo, suggesting that she dumped him and the reason for that was that she needed a “Faithful and Honest” man alongside her.
“My ideal man is faithful, honest and a gentleman who knows how to treat women,” she told Hola.
“I don’t believe in men who make us feel unhappy, because they’re boys not men.
“I thought I had once found the ideal man but it didn’t turn out that way.”
The model also admitted that she felt ugly and insecure standing alongside the Portuguese star.
“I think a woman feels ugly when she’s got the wrong man at her side. I’ve felt ugly and insecure.”
This isn’t the first time Ronaldo has been accused of not being honest and faithful with his partners, but could this all be taking its toll on the man.
Do you think Ronaldo’s personal life is affecting his form?
