It has been reported that Mamelodi Sundowns dished out R6 million for the services of Lucky Mohomi from Free State Stars, but what is unlucky for them is that they overspent on his services. Can you guess by how much?

According to the Siya Crew, the Brazilians saw their offer of half a dozen million rand accepted by Ea Lla Koto management as they looked to secure their replacement for Bongani Zungu.

This sum of money is, in fact, R2 million short of what Downs paid Ajax Cape Town for the services of Keagan Dolly. 

According to Transfermarkt, Mohomi's market value sits substantially lower than the transfer fee, at about R2.55 million. This means that the Brazilians spent over R3.45 million more than what they probably should have.

It's no secret that money is no object for Sundowns, but this may be stretching it a tad too far…
