Report: Rulani's Wydad Complete 9 Signings

Wydad Athletic Club have reportedly concluded nine deals at once.

A report has claimed that Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Athletic Club has completed deals to sign nine players ahead of the 2024/25 season.

According to Aljarida24, the Moroccan giants have made significant steps in improving their ranks following the appointment of the former Mamelodi Sundowns manager.

The publication reports that Wydad have "concluded nine deals at once" in what they call a "bold step aimed at correcting the team's course after a disappointing season".

Yassin Ayoub has arrived on a free transfer from Dutch club Excelsior, with the Moroccan-born player set to play in his country of birth for the first time in his career having starred in the Netherlands since youth.

Nassim Chadli is reportedly set to arrive from French outfit Le Havre in France, while goalkeeper Abdul Ali Al-Muhammadi has been signed from Al-Batin in Saudi Arabia and Mohammed Al-Raihi from Jabalain Saudi Club.

Mohamed Mofid, Amin Dirani, Moadh Ounez and Jawad Khalouk are also said to have been added to the Red Castle's roster, along with Mauritanian player Mohsen Bouda.

This report follows the club's teaser on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that they will soon announce the arrivals of six players.
