Today, the Fan Park Crew takes a look at a few Brazilian’s that have represented Real Madrid in recent years. On Monday, the club announced their latest Brazilian signing in Lucas Silva, so we thought that we would go take a look at who’s footsteps he will follow in.
Probably the greatest Brazilian to ever play for the club, Ronaldo De Lima first played for arch rivals Barcelona before running out for Real Madrid. Ronaldo joined Real in 2002 and made 127 appearances for the club in five years, scoring 83 goals in all competitions.
Robinho had plenty promise around him when he joined Real Madrid from Brazilian side Santos. He joined Los Blancos back in 2005, but only managed to stay at the club for three years. He made over 100 apppereances for the club in all competitions and scored 25 goals in total.
The legendary left-back joined the Spanish giants back in 1996 from Italian side Inter Milan and was an instant hit with the Bernabeu faithful. During his time with Madrid, he made a total of 584 appearances in all competitions, scoring 71 goals - which is quite incredible for a defender.
Marcelo joined the club back in 2007. He has made over 200 apperances for Real and has gotten on the score sheet 15 times. The fullback was also part of Madrid's La Decima winning side, and had a big role to play in the club's recent success.
One of the nicest blokes in world football, Kaka joined Real Madrid in 2009 after six successful years with AC Milan. In the four years at the Real, he made 85 appearances for them and scored 23 goals along the way.
