Thamsanqa Gabuza may be approaching 37 years of age, but there is no stopping the striker in his plan to return to the PSL with a new club.
After finishing the 2023/24 season without a club, having parted ways with TS Galaxy in February, Gabuza has prioritised getting a new home in the top flight for the upcoming season although an opportunity in the second tier won't be turned down if it is appealing to him.

Sources close to the veteran striker have confirmed that a few clubs in the PSL have been contacted about his availability, including newly promoted Magesi, while the player has spent the last few days training with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Maritzburg United.
"Thamsanqa Gabuza is working hard to return to the PSL in the new season and he is confident about his chances. For him, retiring doesn't even form part of his vocabulary at this stage as he believes that he still has a lot to offer in the game. His representatives are busy searching for the right opportunity for him. If there is an opportunity to sign there (Maritzburg), he will consider it," said the source.
