Siya sources close to the club have indicated that Dlamini's impressive performances in friendly matches played in Spain have led to inquiries from two Spanish clubs interested in securing his services.
"There have been several clubs which have been monitoring his progress and after the interest from Morocco there is interest from Spain. There are actually two clubs which made contact and inquired through the technical team while in Spain," said the Siya source.
"It's believed that they even wanted him to stay behind after the camp but at the moment that's not possible because of visa issues and other logistics as well. So, they will see what happens when they return back. But the interest is there," the source added.
Meanwhile, another insider provided updates on the previously reported interest from Moroccan side Raja Casablanca, which has since waned.
"His former coach Josef Zinnbauer and Fadlu Davids were apparently the ones who wanted him at Raja but now since they left the club we are not sure if the team would still look into that proposal. So, for now it only remains with the Spanish interest. Nothing official has been communicated yet so there is nothing much we can say because it's in the interest stage at the moment," the second source told Soccer Laduma.
As Dlamini continues to showcase his skills in Europe, the interest from Spain underscores his growing reputation and potential for further development abroad. The unfolding scenario presents a promising yet complex opportunity for Dlamini, as logistical and contractual details remain to be ironed out.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment but no response was received by the time this report was published.
