Thapelo Morena: The family man
The ever-consistent Thapelo Morena is in a good place on the pitch, as he plays for the most dominant team in the land and is a regular feature in Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squads.
Off the pitch, Morena is living family life Goals with his wife Carol and their two, almost identical children. In a vlog shared on Instagram and TikTok, Carol showed the life of a WAG on matchday, sharing wholesome footage of her and the kids enjoying Thapelo in action.
Morena's family was there to watch him in Sundowns' win over neighbours University of Pretoria (TUKS) in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium last Friday.
Carol's vlog documented their journey to the game as well as the children's excitement over seeing their father on the pitch. After the match, when the Downs players were singing with the fans, the kids ran to embrace Thapelo and his teammates Marcelo Allende and Lucas Ribeiro Costa.
