What's the story?
It can be said that the Nike brand has been associated with all things football for years, with some of the game's greatest ever stars representing the sportswear giant.
For one, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is one of Nike's poster boy and even had a signature sneaker with the label. Fans around the world could get their hands on the Air Force 1 Low CR7, of which Nike described as their most 'curated' version of the sneaker.

The popular kicks come with gold trimmings, with the famous swoosh receiving an accent of gold as well. The infamous 'CR7' acronym is printed on the heel of the shoe, with it being priced around the R3000 mark.

For Makaringe, the Bucs star himself has an impressive sneaker collection. As a top Nike athelete in the PSL, the former Maritzburg United man often takes to his Instagram account, showcasing his Nike drip and apparel.
With his footwear, Makaringe is often seen wearing a wide array of Nike trainers, Air Max's and even rare Jordan sneakers!
