The story

The 2023/24 PSL season produced some incredible exhibitions of skills and dribbling, which is something many local football fans find entertaining, almost as much as the goals.

Some of the standout stars from last season, namely Orlando Pirates duo Patrick Maswanganyi and Relebohile Mofokeng, showcased why their brand of Kasi Flava is here to stay.

One impeccable move that sticks out from the 2023/24 campaign came from Pirates' teenage sensation, Mofokeng, who gave the Happy People in Gqeberha plenty to scream about when the youngster terrorised Chippa United defender, Sirgio Kammies.

Ballers such as Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha, Richards Bay attacker Lwandile Mabuya and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sipho Mbule all produced moments of dribbling brilliance for their respective teams.

Mbatha's loan spell at Bucs proved fruitful as he quickly established himself as a started in Jose Riveiro's midfield, earning himself a permanent move to the Sea Robbers.

Against Moroka Swallows, Mbatha did this:

Natal Rich Boyz winger, Lwandile Mabuya proved to be a nightmare for defenders in number of occassions last season, terrorising AmaZulu defender, Riaan Hanamub during a DStv Premiership encounter:

Mabuya had plenty of smoke for the Baroka FC defenders during the DStv Premiership promotion play-offs:

Masandawana's trickster in midfield, Sipho Mbule already has two DStv Premiership winners medals since arriving in Chloorkop two years ago.

Mbule still has plenty to prove on the pitch but his talent is undeniable, the type of midfielder that you don't want to press in a match.

Here's why:

The real entertainers of the previous campaign were Patrick Maswanganyi and Relebohile Mofokeng. This devastating duo danced around defenders all season long, with both players quickly becoming fan favourites at the Buccaneers.

"Tito", who won the DStv Prem Players' Player of the Season, the DStv Premiership's Midfielder of the Season and the Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament awards, fed plenty social media users content with his supreme Kasi Flava-inspired dribbling and kept supporters entertained throughout his first season at the Sea Robbers.

Mofokeng, the dazzling 19-year-old also enjoyed a campaign to remember, earning himself the Nedbank Cup's Most Promising Player and DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season, and plenty of admirers from European clubs.

The two stars gave us plenty to rave about last season, here are some of their finest moments of sheer skills and talent:
