The story

"Lendlela" and "Welele" hitmaker Scotts Maphuma showed out at his local Kasi tournament, surprising many supporters who weren't aware of his football abilities.

The electrifying Amapiano talent was spotted donning the famous number 10 and wore the captain's armband at a community ground in Daveyton, Gauteng.

The famous Ekhuruleni township has proven to be a prominent talent factory for South African football, producing the likes of ex-Kaizer Chiefs stars Jabu Mahlangu, Junior Khanye, and Michael Nkambule, as well as Orlando Pirates midfield maestro, Kabelo Dlamini.

Scotts Maphuma, real name Mpho Lebajoa, is quickly becoming a household name in the local music industry, stands out not just for his captivating performances, trendy TikTok dances and catch phrase "Bathini Bona" (which translates to "What did they say?")

With tracks like "Yebo Lapho" and "Wishi Wishi" taking social media by storm, the youngster went viral for something other than music for a change.
