What's the story?
As mentioned, the Frenchman is known for his sparkling displays and on his day, can be a handful for any Premier League defence.
Saint-Maximin loves to entertain as seen in a recent skill video that went viral. Newcastle faced Crystal Palace at St.James Park and managed to collect all three points in a 1-0 win as Miguel Almiron scored the only goal of the game.
The Entertainer
With the game providing a number of talking points, it was Saint-Maximin who stole the show during and after the game.
As he collected the ball on the touchline, the attacker was seen doing a number rapid stepovers on the spot before passing the ball to one of his teammates.
Naturally, the Newcastle star had social media talking as at one end of the spectrum, supporters felt it was a needless bit of showboating while others enjoyed the banter. The stepover sequence drew comparisons to that of a move ex-Orlando Pirates star Thabo Qalinge pulled off a couple of years ago.
