So after signing a new five-year contract worth a reported 17 million euros per year, our very own superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has bought himself a new Ferrari LaFerrari that was unveiled earlier this year.
The car features a 963 HP (708 kW) hybrid powertrain that enables it to achieve 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than three seconds, 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in under seven seconds and 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in 15 seconds. The top speed is more than 350 km/h (217 mph).
LaFerrari has a base price of around $1.3 million and it's believed that the Italian automaker will only sell this beauty to special clients that already own at least five previous Ferrari models.
It's well known that the Portuguese already owns a 599 GTO, two 599 GTBs and a Ferrari 575. Ronaldo would have probably have to have bought another model or might have had to pay a higher base price to get his new ride.
Let's hope he treats Ferrari's newest creation a bit better than the 599 GTB that he destroyed back in 2009.
