Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo once dated supermodel Irina Shayk, and the Portuguese's ex-girlfriend has now made headlines with a cryptic social media post.
The pair began dating in 2010, but split up early last year after it was rumoured that the Los Blancos talisman had been unfaithful to her.
The player's former boss at Real, Carlo Ancelotti, once gave some insight into their relationship, saying: "Cristiano Ronaldo bathed in ice at three o'clock in the morning, even if Irina was waiting for him at home. He wasn't bothered about the money; he only wanted to be the best. I can't go into details but I can tell you that it is incredible how he has always put his career before models and other issues."
The pair's relationship reportedly turned sour, and on Thursday, while Ronaldo was preparing for Portugal's European Championship quarter-final clash against Poland, Shayk put the post below up on Instagram, with many believing was aimed at Ronaldo.
