Ronaldinho's Emotional Goodbye To Brazil Legend

Ronaldinho's Emotional Goodbye To Brazil Legend

FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho was devastated by the recent death of a Brazilian legend – here is his message in memory of one of his heroes.

Brazil legend Carlos Alberto sadly passed away at 72 years old on Tuesday, after suffering a heart attack at his home in Rio de Janeiro.

Alberto captained the Selecao to their famous 1970 FIFA World Cup win, and will go down in history as one of his country's greatest ever leaders.

Ronaldinho, who would've grown up watching Alberto, paid homage to the legend on Instagram, saying (translated from Portuguese): "An example of leadership within the field and out of it a great friend who always treated me with great affection, I still remember our meeting in London... Rest in peace eternal captain!!!"
