Mamelodi Sundowns sensation Percy Tau has been turning heads in the Absa Premiership and in Africa for the last three years, and it's largely due to the impact of Rhulani Mokwena. And he has since revealed something interesting about the midfielder. Can you guess what?
The pint-sized attacker, who made his four minute-debut for Sundowns back in 2014 against Orlando Pirates, often saw the odds stacked against him due to his small stature. However, there was one man who kept believing he could go on to become an excellent player.
Cue Mokwena. Then assistant coach to Pitso Mosimane at Downs, the tactician believed the club had a special talent in Tau, and he wasn't wrong.
Now, with the 23-year-old already an established name in South African football, Mokwena took to Twitter to reveal a few interesting things. They are:
1. Tau still keeps in contact with Mokwena, despite him working for Pirates. Check it out!
2. Bigger things are still to come for Tau. Check it out!
Mokwena's impact at Sundowns was highly influential, and it has carried over at Orlando Pirates too.
How far do you think Tau can go in his career?
