With Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi placed alongside each other at the recent Uefa awards ceremony, new memes of the pair have made the rounds on social media. Have you seen them?
Despite not winning anything on the night, Ronaldo stole the show after he spoke fondly of Messi, and even said that he hopes they can have dinner together one day.
According to BT Sports at the event held in Monaco, Ronaldo said of the Argentine: "We have a good relationship, we have not had dinner together yet, but I hope in the future. Of course, I miss playing in Spain, we had that battle over the last 15 years. He pushed me, and I pushed him as well, it's good to be part of the history of football."
