What's the story?
Chiefs are perhaps the most supported and followed team in South Africa today, alongside the likes of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns. The Amakhosi brand is known throughout the continent with the Soweto club in the conversation of the biggest clubs in Africa.
Across The Border
Beyond that, Chiefs have fanbases around the world, including counties such as England and even Mexico. In August, Amakhosi striker Leonardo Castro sent a young Mexico fan a gift in the form of a playing jersey, as the South American took to his social media pages by showing off the Colombian's gift.
Named Adrian Ochoa, the Mexican Chiefs supporter has grown in stature among Mzansi football fans, as he constantly tweets about Glamour Boys.
UK Mandem
A UK-based fan by the name of Arcade Adriano on Twitter, often shows the Soweto club love by wearing his jerseys. In one of his latest posts, Adriano was seen wearing an iconic Chiefs shirt that was worn during the early 2000s.
Also, an English kit collector by the name of NomadFootball on Twitter recently showcased his impressive Chiefs jersey collection that consisted of some of the rarest club shirts in their illustrious history.
