Thursday night saw a rekindling of their rivalry when football's biggest superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi were pitted against each other at the UEFA awards.
While all the talk was on the awards, the global icons stole the show when they showed up in luxury private helicopters. However, who did it best?
Messi made the short trip from Barcelona to Monaco and naturally, he had to travel first-class. The 32-year-old showed up looking comfortable, rocking shorts and a t-shirt with his wife in tandem.
While Ronaldo chose a similar mode of transportation, he opted to travel with his entourage. The 34-year-old looked dapper in a white shirt and blue formal trousers.
Messi pipped Ronaldo to the UEFA Forward of the Year award, while Virgil Van Dijk was the big winner, walking away with the UEFA Men's Best Player gong.
