The story
Bafana Bafana international, Lebogang Phiri recently made his 100th appearance from French Ligue 2 outfit, Guingamp over the weekend.
Guingamp outclassed Grenoble, 3-0 on Saturday, seeing them rise to sixth place in France's second tier. Saturday's home win marked a special occasion for Phiri, who came on as a substitute to become a centurion for EAG.
This is the 29-year-old's second stint with Guingamp, having turned out for the outfit from 2017 until 2021 before making the switch to Türkiye.

Phiri, who moved abroad aged 13, has played his football in Denmark, Turkiye and France, enjoying many highs and some lows as one of Mzansi's longest serving Euro-based players.
Despite a tumultuous time in Türkiye with Rizespor, where he had to be loaned out to Paris FC, Phiri's best years abroad have come from his first stint at EAG and his five-year stay at Danish giants, Brøndby IF.
With almost 300 overall appearances in Europe, Phiri has 11 goals to his name and bulk of those strikes came from his time in Scandinavia.
