Paris Saint-German forward Kylian Mbappe reportedly clocked a speed superior to that of legendary Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt in his club's latest match. Did you see it?
With Lille drawing earlier on Sunday, PSG were officially Ligue 1 champions when they beat Monaco 3-1 in a league clash that saw Mbappe net an incredible hat-trick in the process.
Facing his former team, the French superstar opened the scoring in stunning fashion after chasing a through-ball and reportedly recording a top speed of 38km/h.
The significance of his blistering run is that former 100m sprinter Usain Bolt clocked a slower speed when he set his 100m record of 9.58 seconds nearly 10 years ago.
With Bolt timed at 37.58km/h, Mbappe became the talk of social media as videos of his goal made the rounds on the internet.
