The story

CR Belouizdad striker, Khanyisa Mayo made revisited his old club Cape Town City by stopping by at their headquarters, to greet his former colleagues and employers.

The Bafana Bafana international has returned to Mzansi for the FIFA Break, from Algeria to spend quality time with partner Ababalwe Scout and their toddler, Amina, who still stay in the Mother City.

Mayo took some time to settle in at CR Belouizdad before rediscovering his form late last year, which included a goal against Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League in November.

With just six goal contributions for his new club, Mayo will hope to go on another goal scoring spree after this international break for Sead Ramovic's side, who find themselves in second place on the Algerian Ligue 1 table.

Mayo, who managed 35 goal contributions in nearly 100 matches for the Citizens, cut a jubilant figure when spotted at CT City's offices on Thursday.
