The story

Kaizer Chiefs had a productive week in Polokwane, where they played back-to-back Betway Premiership home matches against Richards Bay and Royal AM on Wednesday and Saturday.

The Glamour Boys walked away with four points from a possible six, overcoming a struggling Richards Bay 2-0 and dropping points against Royal AM on Saturday, 2-2.

During their time in the city, the club's players and management took part in two outreach programmes—one on Thursday in Seshego and another on Saturday in Moletjie—focused on youth and education in the area.

In collaboration with the Polokwane Municipality, the Capricorn South District's Department of Education, and sponsors Vodacom, the club supported Grade 11 students in Seshego who are preparing for their Matric year in 2025, as well as all learners at Mohlapetse Secondary School in Moletjie.

Kaizer Chiefs first-team ballers Ranga Chivaviro, Happy Mashiane, Zitha Kwinika, Tebogo Potsane, and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo visited the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sports Complex in Seshego, where they helped inspire and encourage over 1 000 Grade 11 learners from over 20 high schools.

Kemiso Motaung, Kaizer Chiefs' Head of Digital, found the experience to be fulfilling and emphasised the importance of corporate social responsibility.

She also highlighted the club's commitment to engaging with youth in rural areas, where many supporters live, and expressed excitement about future partnerships with the Polokwane Municipality and the Capricorn District Department of Education.

To close off the event, 10 standout learners rewarded with hampers, including merchandise and smartphones from Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom.

The team later visited Mohlapetse Secondary School in Moletjie, where they were warmly received by students, teachers, and local councillors.
