Jerry Sikhosana is one of the most adored Orlando Pirates legends out there, and a lot of the admiration he receives stem from when he scored the winning goal to hand his team the 1995 CAF Champions League trophy. Did you see his latest post?
The 47-year-old earned the nickname "Legs of Thunder" for his formidable goal-poaching skills, but when he turned out against ASEC Abidjan (now ASEC Mimosas) in the final, he broke past the last defender to round the goalkeeper and slot the ball into the back of an empty net.
Pirates won the final 3-2 on aggregate, after drawing the first leg 2-2 and winning the return fixture 1-0. Sikhosana's goal was the decisive strike, and he recently took to Facebook to recall that great moment.
