Itumeleng Khune responded positively to throwback pictures shared by his former Chiefs teammate on Twitter.
Let's take a look!
What's the story?
Kaizer Chiefs club captain Itumeleng Khune responded well to throwback pictures shared by former Chiefs and Orlando Pirates shot-stopper, Brilliant Khuzwayo.
Khuzwayo, who was forced into early retirement, shared two pictures of him and Khune in Chiefs colours and the other of the late Sifiso Meyiwa and Moeneeb Josephs in Pirates colours.
Khuzwayo urged fans on Twitter to like and retweet if they enjoyed the competition between both sets of keepers.
Khune responds to Khuzwayo's throwback
Khune is very active on Twitter and regularly responds to things that concern him.
For this post, he responded positively to Khuzwayo by saying:
"With all due respect Brother, Great Talent and Competition."
Khuzayo's response; "Crazy personalities also brother. Very confident, always up for the challenge."
This interaction not only proves that Khune enjoyed his competition from Khuzwayo but also respected what the Sea Robbers had to offer with Meyiwa and Josephs.
All four above-mentioned keepers made their mark for both club and country. Unreal competition!
