The story
In a unique and lowkey trailblazing move, the Lamontville Golden Arrows players a kickstarting their own podcast, for the players, by the players.
The Durban-based club took to their social media channels to share a trailer for their latest project, the Up Back Through Podcast.
In the trailer, players Lungelo Dube, Sibusiso Sibeko, and Ryan Moon are seen greeting fans, both young and old at a Lamontville Shisanyama spot.
The players are seen stepping out of the team mini bus to hand out special Arrows jerseys to young fans, telling them that to go purchase data because there's something on the works.
"Ask no one, hear no lies! Yibani ready! Kukhona into ezayo… [Get ready, there's something big coming]," teased Abafana bes'thende in the caption to the trailer of their new players podcast.
The Up Back Through Podcast promises to amalgamate culture and lifestyle with the beautiful game, where the Arrows players will share some of their untold stories, that promise to be inspiring and funny.
