Five Footballers WhoDrive Small Cars

Five Footballers WhoDrive Small Cars

While many footballers opt to drive only the most lavish of vehicles, there are some who prefer the more humble approach in driving cheaper and smaller vehicles. We look at a few footballers and managers who drive smaller cars. Check it out!

To see the vehicles, scroll through the gallery above!

Pep Guardiola

While the Manchester City manager and his side have been showing no mercy to teams in the Premier League, the Spaniard is somewhat considerate of the environment, and can be seen driving around in a modest Nissan Leaf, which, in fact, is a compact electric car.

N'Golo Kante

Much has been made about the Chelsea man's humble lifestyle, and even more so, the Mini Cooper he owns. It's been reported that he bought the car via a second-hand car dealer and owns the set of wheels since his time with former club Leicester City.

John Stones

Regarded as a "Rolls-Royce" of a defender, the technically-gifted center-back can also be seen driving around in a classic Mini Cooper. A more humble approach for a player earning over R1.7 million a week!

Thomas Vermaelen

The Barcelona defender might be receiving little game time with the Spanish giants, but that just affords him more time with his classic Nissan Figaro. According to The Sun, the former Arsenal centre-back paid a mere R88 000 for his ride.

Raheem Sterling

Part of his impressive garage of flashy rides is a Smart car, one of the most simple cars in the automotive industry at the moment. Nonetheless, a plain Smart car would never make the cut for Sterling – he ended customising the two-seater!

Can you think of any other footballers who drive smaller vehicles?
