Its official! Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is now a single man! The Portuguese superstar has officially broken up with swimsuit model Irina Shayk.
There was a lot of talk in the media when Ronaldo rocked up at the 2014 Ballon d'Or ceremony alone, and with this speculation ran wild.
Ronaldo has now officially come out with a statement saying he and Shayk have official ended it.
"After dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end," Ronaldo wrote in a statement to The Associated Press. "We believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now, I wish Irina the greatest happiness."
The Portuguese did not specify why the two broke up, but the Portuguese media reported that Shayk fell out with members of Ronaldo's family, mainly his mother, and there were hints that he was seeing another woman. Pictures recently surfaced with a new lady on his side which we believe is Lucia Villalon, who works as a journalist for RMTV.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Ronaldo and his son.
