I have to admit, I was left impressed by our club's latest showing of humour yesterday on Twitter, where they responded with an excellent comment regarding Siyabonga Nkosi's long nail.
As we know, the attacking midfielder failed to make his first appearance of the season on Wednesday night after the fourth official deemed his nails too long to play with.
It was undoubtedly one of the strangest incidents to have occurred in the Absa Premiership for many years, but, depending the type of humour that you enjoy, you had to laugh at the scenario too.
Nkhosi and our technical team frantically scrambled to tape up his fingers in order to cover his nails and get him on the field on time, but that still didn't meet the match official's requirements.
In response to this ludicrous scenario, Chiefs tweeted quite an hestrical tweet yesterday afternoon saying: 'Anyone willing to cut Siya's nails? #SiyaNails #KCInspire.'
This tweet was accompanied with a picture of Nkosi holding his hand up to show how short his nails really were.
I have to laugh. Clap, clap to the social media crew at Naturena. Well done!
