To complete our round up of 'Chiefs' best', the Fan Park crew has handpicked five of the best goalkeepers to don the gold and black kit.
The shot-stopping department is one of Chiefs' prized possessions, having dominated the scene with some fine sculptured goalkeepers in their time.
Brain Baloyi
One of the biggest names to have turned out between the poles for Chiefs, Baloyi spent 11 years at Naturena before moving on to join Mamelodi Sundowns. He won tons of accolades with the Zebras and was known as Spider man for his entertaining wide spread body posses he pulled off when going for a ball.
Rowen Fernandez
After taking over from Brian Baloyi, Fernandez commanded the number one jersey in goal for Chiefs. He holds an impressive record for a keeper, where he scored a goal from open play after having missed a penalty.
Itumeleng Khune
Undeniably one of the best goalkeepers in recent on the African continent, Khune has been crucial to Chiefs' success in recent years. He is one of the most successful goalkeepers in South Africa and is known for his acrobatics and aerial presence in goal.
Gary Bailey
After having turned out for Manchester United across nine seasons, Bailey joined Chiefs back in 1988. His towering height and confident presence saw him do well for the Amakhosi before hanging up his boots in 1990.
Wade Du Plessis
Having spent six years at the club, Wade du Plessis commanded his backline to perfection and guarded the door to the goals with maximum efficiency. He turned out for Bafana Bafana on less than a handful of occasions. He is still highly regarded by the Chiefs fans as one of the best.
