What's the story?
As mentioned, many footballers welcome the idea of getting around in a discreet manner, given the amount of attention they receive as figures in the public eye. Instead of the bold BMWs or the loud Mercedes Benz rides, some enjoy going in stealth mode with something more modest.
Bakkie Boy
This could well have been the case for former Kaizer Chiefs great, Siphiwe Tshabalala, who often takes to his Instagram account and showcases his Opel Corsa utility vehicle.
Among the likes of the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger, the Corsa is deemed to be one of the most popular vehicles in its class, with its economy and reliability making it a top choice among car buyers.
Cost Effective
According to many automotive classifieds' websites, the Corsa can be picked up from around the R60 000 mark onward in the second hand market.
It's not known how much Shabba paid for his bakkie, however, it can be said that he enjoys being alongside it. The 2010 FIFA World Cup star recently took to his Instagram account where he uploaded a photo of himself alongside the ride as he captioned his post by saying, "Easy Just".
