Birthday Bucs: Orlando Pirates Celebrates Birthdays

Orlando Pirates presented Innocent Maela and Thembinkosi Lorch with a special cake to celebrate their respective birthdays.

What's the story? 

Pirates captain Innocent Maela, who celebrates his birthday next week (14 August) and Thembinkosi Lorch who celebrated his one last month (22 July) were presented with a Bucs-themed cake. 

Birthdays will be a big deal at the Buccaneers this season as the Soweto giants celebrate their 85th anniversary this year.

Orlando Pirates took to social media to post a video of the cake presentation. They also credited a Sandton-based bakery, Belle's Patisserie, for making the club-themed birthday cake. 

Lorch and Maema weren't the only ones on the Birthday Bucs list. Fitness coach Miguel Bellver also celebrated his birthday on 31 July.

With Ofori's safe hands holding the cake, Maela and Lorch's teammates stood in a circle and sang for their captain and their mercurial baller.
