Orlando Pirates have launched what appears to be a throwback jersey of their 1995 CAF Champions League triumph. We look at the Soweto giants' last few kits and compare it to their latest offering.
2015/16
In this rendition, we saw the return of the popular V-shaped neck, as well as the classic skull and crossbones embossed on the back of the jersey as Pirates stuck to their traditional black.
2016/17
The three stripes changed from their traditional white to light grey instead, and the Vodacom logo took a horizontal position across the front of the jersey. A Mandarin collar replaced the V-neck shape of the previous seasons, and the 3D badge completed the look.
2017/18
Pirates took to the streets with this kit by adding the three stripes across the shoulder of their otherwise plain jersey.
2018/19
Pirates displayed a bold new look while retaining strong elements of classic shirts from the club's rich history. A subtle black-on-black striping brought a sophisticated feel to the jersey.
2019/20
This season Pirates have ditched their traditional black for a white home jersey with black stripes, while their away kit is their favourite red with a V-neck collar.
