Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will all show up in stunning home kits for the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

Fans of the PSL's big three have all been blessed by their team's dropping some stunning home jerseys for the upcoming season.

These jerseys are arguably the best three in the league and all have their own unique meaning and designs.
Mamelodi Sundowns
Masandawana's Yellow home strip is an instant classic! With a classy green and white collar and meaningful details, Sundowns fans will be itching to don the Puma jersey when the season gets underway.
The kit features details of African warriors, pyramids, drums, and warriors. According to the Sundowns website, the kit tells a story of the club's conquests in South Africa and the African continent.
"In African storytelling style the shirt tells of previous Sundowns teams who did battle against their rivals across the continent, and are part of a family of brave warriors dating back through history."
The bold design, as well as the unreal details, will definitely stand the test of time and will be looked back on as an innovative design.
Orlando Pirates
Although a bad Orlando Pirates jersey doesn't exist, the Happy People will be relieved that this is the best Adidas design for an African team.
The jersey is made with 100% recycled materials and the home kit is described as charcoal by the Orlando Pirates website.
The jersey pays homage to the Buccaneers as they celebrate their 85th year.
The grey and red trimmings on the kit add some slickness to it and goes well with the red Vodacom logo and the club's crest.
Kaizer Chiefs
Amakhosi's home jersey might be their trippiest design yet! With geometric prints all over the jersey, this Nike design takes a look into the future.
According the club's press release, the home jersey takes inspiration from the South African flag and geometric black patterns symbolize a high vibration frequency that measures energy, connectivity, and balance.
Kaizer Chiefs' Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung recognises the importance of producing classic kits:
"With Nike celebrating half a century, we wanted to mark this momentous time in history with two classic kits that can be recorded in both our history books. This is as we did when we turned 50 two years ago."
