The man from Thohoyandou has been one of the standout players for Ernst Middendorp this season. The lanky defender who has been nicknamed 'Tower' has been pivotal for Amakhosi on both ends of the field.
Not only has he been helping the Chiefs defence keep clean sheets, he has also chipped in with some crucial goals this season, something that has put him in the reckoning for Bafana Bafana.

Off the field, the 29-year-old showed off his squad goals on Instagram.
Mathoho and his entourage shared images of their luxurious cars, which included a fully kitted Mercedes Benz Brabus, a VW Golf R, with the words 'Fake Taxi' emblazoned on the side as well as Mathoho's yellow Audi S3 sedan.
