In the olden days Downs were welknown for their piano and shoe-shine football and 1/2 cups per season . But after PSL was formed Downs started to show people that playing beautiful football alone is not enough , cups are what matters the most . They won 3 PSL Titles in a row something that was never done by any South African Football Club before . And that's when all this hatred to Downs FC started cause no club did it before , they are trendsetters
