The story

Aston Villa progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League as Marco Asensio inspired them to beat Shandre Campbell's Club Brugge 3-0 to secure a 6-1 aggregate win.

Asensio's brace, both assisted by Marcus Rashford and one from Ian Maatsen, helped the English Premier League see off the Belgians at Villa Park and secure a quarter-final showdown with Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite his side's heavy loss, Shandre Campbell managed to secure a signed Marcus Rashford jersey, following up a selfie he took with the player after last week's first-leg in Brugge.

Although Campbell remained an unused substitute, he will fondly look back on this Round of 16 matchup with Villa and took to Instagram to savour the moment a little more.
