Agent: Sundowns Make Enquiries On Attacker

Mamelodi Sundowns have inquired about the availability of talented winger Mcedi Vandala, sources have revealed.

Vandala has been a key figure for Magesi FC, playing a vital role in their battle to retain their top flight status in the Betway Premiership.

The 29-year-old attacker, on loan from Sekhukhune United, has delivered standout performances since joining Magesi in January.

Despite the club's early season struggles, Vandala has contributed three crucial goals, including strikes against Cape Town City and SuperSport United.

He also provided an assist in a crucial win over Polokwane City, showcasing his attacking prowess and playmaking abilities.

Nicknamed 'Scara,' Vandala has impressed with his skill, creativity, and ability to change games, making him an attractive prospect for Sundowns.

His representative, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, has confirmed interest from the reigning league champions, who could look to bolster their attacking options with his signing.

With Vandala proving instrumental in Magesi's survival bid, his future remains uncertain. Whether he continues his resurgence with Sekhukhune on return from Magesi after the loan spell or if he will secure a move to Sundowns, his performances have undoubtedly placed him in the spotlight.

"The boy has been impressive, and I am not surprised that there has been interest in his services. I am very proud of him, because he is a hardworking player, and he has been really pushing to help Magesi to get out of their situation on the log. He didn't go to the club and just relax, but he is performing," said Mulovhedzi, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

"I can confirm that Sundowns are one of the clubs that have showed interest in his services. I have had talks with the club, but I have directed all the enquiries to Sekhukhune United who are the player's employers," the agent said.
