Real are making a strong push to secure the signing of young Brazilian centre-back Vítor Reis, according to recent reports from Fichajes.

It is said that the club is actively looking for solutions to address its current defensive issues, with injuries having disrupted their backline.

The loss of Eder Militão has been a significant blow, and as a result, Real are urgently seeking new additions to bolster the squad.

In response to this need, the club's star scout, Juni Calafat, has travelled to Brazil with a clear goal: to finalise the transfer of Vítor Reis, a highly regarded talent from Palmeiras.

At just 18 years old, Reis has already impressed with his defensive capabilities and versatility. He has been able to play as a centre-back in both positions, and his adaptability extends to playing as a right-back when required.

Standing at 6'1", his impressive physique and mature performances on the field make him an ideal candidate to strengthen Los Blancos' defensive options.

This season, Reis has accumulated over 2,700 minutes in 33 appearances for Palmeiras, establishing himself as an important player for the team.

His performances have drawn attention from several top clubs, and his current market value is estimated at around €14 million (R265 million).

Interestingly, Real are willing to pay this to secure his services before other clubs enter the race for his signature.
